Our primary goal is to become the industry's first fully carbon-neutral dessert delivery service by 2028. This involves pioneering 100% compostable and recyclable packaging solutions, deepening our partnerships with regenerative farms, and optimizing our logistics to reduce our carbon footprint. The Story of Sweet Escapes

1985

A Legacy Begins

The story truly begins in a small patisserie in Lyon, France, where a young Elara Vance would spend summers watching her grandmother, a renowned pastry chef, work her magic. It was here, amidst the scent of browned butter and caramelizing sugar, that the foundational belief of Sweet Escapes was formed: that pastry is a form of love.

2008

The Parisian Apprenticeship

Driven by her inherited passion, Elara formally trained at the most prestigious culinary school in Paris. She then honed her craft under the tutelage of the world's most demanding pastry chefs, mastering the discipline of the classics while secretly sketching her own innovative creations in a notebook at night. She learned that precision was not the enemy of creativity, but its greatest ally.

2020

The 'Aha' Moment

Returning to the US, Elara noticed a significant gap in the market. While cities had elite bakeries, there was no way for people across the country to access that level of quality. The idea for Sweet Escapes was born from a simple question: "What if we could safely package and deliver a moment of pure, Parisian-quality joy to any doorstep in the nation?"

2023

The Kitchen Opens

After two years of relentless research—perfecting recipes that could withstand travel and engineering revolutionary temperature-stable packaging—Elara opened the first Sweet Escapes kitchen. With a small, handpicked team of equally passionate artisans, the first orders were shipped, marking the beginning of a new chapter in gourmet dessert delivery. Our cafe cooperates with the fomo7 platform to hold promotions among the guests.
